Sängerin, Komponistin, Songwriterin und Arrangeurin Dorothea Jaburek vereint Traditional Jazz mit Groove oder Bossa Nova. Mit "Mei eigne Wöd", als erstes und „Thank you Vienna“ als zweites Album zeigt sie mit ihrer samtigen Stimme ihr außergewöhnliches Talent. Seit Jahren tourt Sie mit ihrer Band "Prague-Vienna Connection" durch Europa und bleibt sich, wie auch 2008, als einzige österreichische Semifinalistin bei der Shure Voice Competition in Montreux/Schweiz und Brussels Young Singers treu, während sie mit Poetik ihre Welt beschreibt.
Dorothea Jaburek is an Austrian singer, songwriter, composer and music arranger. She unites traditional jazz with groove or bossa nova. Her very first album “Mei eigne Wöd” and her follow up “Thank you Vienna” displays/ demonstrates/ reveals/ presents her soft Voice and exceptional vocal talent. For years, she has been touring through Europe with her band “Prague-Vienna Connection”. In 2008 she starred as semifinalist in the Shure Voice Competition in Montreux (Switzlerland) and the Brussels Young Singers Competition. With her poetic world view she paints a beautiful picture of our surroundings and sparks a joyfulness feeling within all her listeners.
